The batch pacer with overlapper wheel enables wound products to be finished directly without the need for rewinding, which is both time-consuming and takes up a lot of space. Another function enables products to be fed in manually and processed further via the manual feeder (Jetfeeder). Products are fed from the unwinding station (different copy laps and gaps in the copy stream are compensated in the LAT). The products are received by the take-up wheel, then are fed to the stream inverter wheel and are transferred to the intermediate endless loop in the correct position by the accelerator in the stream inverter wheel. The intermediate conveyor transfers the products to the feeder chain, which is driven by the MSD and feeds the products to the insertion process.
